Base Salary
$159k - $324k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead on cross-functional projects involving Inventory and Promise.
- Design and architect systems for new microservices and machine learning pipelines.
- Decompose complex problems into simple solutions.
- Apply expert knowledge in performance, scalability, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor individuals and assist in their career development.
- Exert technical influence over multiple teams to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including Java.
- 7+ years of experience leading large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of emerging platforms, Java, C/C++, and programming best practices.
- Expertise in backend scalable software architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with high-scale production systems and fault-tolerance.
- Familiarity with stream-processing systems like Kafka and Spark-Streaming.
- Knowledge of data caching, storage techniques, and distributed software architectures.
