Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end machine-learning training pipelines covering data collection, validation, transformation, training, and evaluation.
- Deploy, optimize, and package models for inference and support model deployment on cloud platforms and edge systems or sorting machines.
- Contribute to data- and model-centered research and innovation projects, particularly involving computer vision.
- Build, integrate, and operate secure data platforms using SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, object storage, and feature stores.
- Design and implement REST APIs for ML services and data-platform capabilities.
- Develop and maintain internal tools and web-based user interfaces supporting ML workflows.
- Develop robust, maintainable software with unit, integration, and performance tests, technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge transfer.
- Containerize components, implement CI/CD pipelines, and operate and troubleshoot ML tools in production.
- Collaborate closely with internal users and international teams.
Requirements
- Several years of demonstrable professional experience developing and deploying productive machine-learning systems with measurable business value.
- Very strong Python skills.
- Deep expertise in computer vision and machine-learning and deep-learning tooling.
- Experience with MLOps, especially data modeling, packaging, containerization, and CI/CD.
- Data-science experience for optimizing image-processing models.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, REST API development, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React, or willingness to learn them.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premises platforms and their interfaces.
- Knowledge of model-optimization frameworks including TensorRT, ONNX, CUDA, and cuDNN.
- Experience with edge deployment on hardware platforms such as x64 and ARM/Jetson.
