Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of the routing layer for TyrOS.
- Extend routing capabilities with multi-modal transport routing and time-dependent cost modeling.
- Collaborate with the platform team to integrate routing functionality into TyrOS workflows.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Triage and debug routing issues in production.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and military stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software engineering focused on routing or transportation systems.
- Hands-on experience building or extending a routing engine like Valhalla or OSRM.
- Proficiency in C++ or Rust; familiarity with Go is a plus.
- Ability to independently design, implement, debug, and iterate on technical layers.
- Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
