Base Salary

$118k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead strategic technical discussions with customers on data architecture and database design.
Design and implement scalable and secure database solutions for mission-critical applications.
Collaborate with teams during all phases of implementation including requirements and deployment.
Configure and maintain database environments, including backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Monitor and tune database performance using industry-standard tools.
Implement data security measures and compliance standards across environments.
Automate routine database tasks to improve efficiency.
Provide technical guidance for database design and integration projects.

8+ years of experience in database design, administration, and optimization.
Experience with database design principles and performance monitoring.
Scripting skills in SQL and Python for automation.
Experience with cloud-based database solutions like AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database.
Basic understanding of geospatial concepts and spatial indexing.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
US citizenship and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or related field.
