Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning models that identify relevant advertisements using product and shopper understanding.
- Architect and build high-volume, low-latency, highly available ad-serving systems.
- Integrate machine learning solutions with distributed systems for click-through prediction and ad auctions.
- Conduct rapid A/B experiments to measure customer response and improve relevance and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Scientists to translate business problems into scalable engineering solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
