Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK and maintain deployments using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Build, manage, debug, and deploy Docker containers on ECS Fargate.
- Monitor systems with CloudWatch, Sentry, and alerting tools.
- Troubleshoot issues across APIs, databases, queues, containers, and infrastructure.
- Manage MySQL RDS databases, schema changes, and operational procedures.
- Support backend services including Flask APIs, workers, and scheduled tasks.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate through Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies.
Requirements
- Require 4–6 years of professional software, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
- Require strong Python scripting skills and the ability to read and write production code.
- Require knowledge of SQL, including queries, joins, and indexes, with MySQL preferred.
- Require hands-on experience with Git workflows, CI/CD tools, Docker, AWS CDK, ECS, and RDS.
- Require experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Require familiarity with Linux environments, command-line tools, REST APIs, and HTTP.
- Require strong Infrastructure as Code understanding and experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Prefer experience with Flask, Django, FastAPI, Redis, SQLAlchemy, or another ORM.
- Prefer familiarity with asyncio, httpx, and AI/LLM concepts such as prompts, tokens, embeddings, and agents.
- Require strong troubleshooting, ownership, and willingness to learn.
