Base Salary
$194k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core security products including remote access management, secrets management, tokenization, knowledge graphs, and access control.
- Partner with infrastructure, product engineering, legal, security, and vendor teams to embed secure design practices into product and infrastructure development.
- Lead the technical direction and roadmap for an assigned area of ownership.
- Establish and maintain operational excellence standards for reliable, resilient services with minimal downtime.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly to operational events.
- Manage security product feature requests through triage, validation, design, testing, and implementation.
- Drive improvements to engineering standards and leverage LLMs to improve productivity and velocity.
- Mentor and coach earlier-career engineers while setting and enforcing software engineering and operational excellence standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer in information security or infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated success improving an organization’s infrastructure security posture.
- Broad technical experience across infrastructure and security areas in large production environments.
- Strong distributed systems and platform development skills using Java, Scala, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform.
- Expertise managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
- Ability to solve complex systemic issues through creative solutions.
- Strong analytical and investigative abilities, including hands-on root cause analysis leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reviewing cloud infrastructure, security, and engineering design documents.
