Responsibilities
- Drive overall technical architecture and own end-to-end solution architecture for Fidelity Institutional Wealth Advisory.
- Create architecture artifacts, articulate designs, and provide technical leadership to product owners, technology teams, and architecture leadership.
- Support multiple squads through issue resolution, wellness plans, product roadmaps, and delivery acceleration.
- Analyze business direction, quantify risks and benefits, and develop strategic technical solutions.
- Evaluate, select, recommend, and configure technologies in collaboration with product owners and technology teams.
- Partner with peer architects to refactor business processes, improve customer experience, and rationalize capabilities.
- Manage third-party vendor solutions and ensure secure, compliant, high-performing integrations.
- Build and deploy applications using AWS or Azure and assess emerging AI/ML and data platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience in architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.
- Demonstrated software development experience with Angular or React, JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Java EE or Jakarta EE, Spring Framework or Spring Boot, and web application technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of APIs, user interfaces, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and emerging technologies.
- Experience providing technical leadership, preparing design artifacts, implementing solutions, and translating business needs into technology solutions.
- Experience with cloud technologies and practices, including application development and deployment using AWS, Azure, or both.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and data platforms and the ability to assess and integrate emerging capabilities.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, written and verbal communication, critical-thinking, and influencing skills.
- Cloud certification is preferred.
