Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and release management processes, including versioning, deployment tracking, and rollback strategies.
- Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Implement Ansible playbooks for server provisioning, application configuration, and environment standardization.
- Develop Python scripts and automation tooling for operational and deployment tasks.
- Administer GitHub repositories, pull request workflows, branching strategies, and code integration processes.
- Translate operational requirements into automated, scalable solutions with utility stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams on secure infrastructure connectivity and compliance.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related field; candidates with approximately two years of highly relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code practices.
- Practical proficiency with Terraform and one or more of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Working experience with Ansible for configuration management, server provisioning, and application automation.
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation, tooling, or deployment optimization.
- Solid understanding of GitHub workflows, branching, pull request management, and collaborative code integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps security practices, secrets management, pipeline hardening, infrastructure compliance scanning, Chef, microservices, Agile delivery environments, utilities, energy management, smart grids, or critical infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is helpful.
- Familiarity with GE ADMS systems and architecture is advantageous but not required.
