Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
- Implement big-data processing solutions using Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features and enhancements.
- Apply software engineering practices including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
- Optimize and troubleshoot high-volume data-processing pipelines for reliability and performance.
- Build enterprise applications with Spring Framework.
- Develop and optimize Oracle database queries, stored procedures, and schemas, including performance tuning.
- Integrate systems and applications using Apache Camel.
- Document technical designs, processes, and solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Java programming experience.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar big-data processing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Spring Framework.
- Experience with Oracle databases and performance tuning.
- Experience with high-volume, low-latency systems and data processing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Apache Camel for integration and messaging.
- Preferred familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
