Base Salary
$82k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed software, interface, requirements, test, and design specifications.
- Support implementation, enhancement, and modification of software source code, scripts, procedures, test cases, and protocols.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, provide technical analysis and solutions, and support root-cause analysis of failures.
- Identify test parameters, structures, and critical components; write, update, execute, and analyze automated, semi-automated, and manual tests.
- Contribute to hazard, risk, and cybersecurity analysis specifications for embedded software.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, validation, design reviews, issue resolution, and project leadership as a testing leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, computer science, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum two years of experience testing embedded software.
- Required experience with C, C++, C#, and/or Python.
- Recommended experience with formal software development methodologies, source code management, unit and integration testing, and automated testing.
- Desired experience testing embedded software or firmware, Bluetooth Low Energy, and implantable medical devices.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, deadline-management, organizational, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
