Responsibilities
- Extend high-scale ingestion pipelines to support new and advanced data objects.
- Own and improve complex backend systems that enable Braze’s product offering.
- Build new Core Objects systems and product features.
- Optimize system performance and infrastructure costs.
- Use agentic AI tools to navigate the Ruby monolith, develop proofs of concept, and accelerate product delivery.
- Collaborate with teammates and provide technical leadership in a team environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working in a team environment with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience building software at scale.
- Preferred professional experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, or API design, monitoring, and best practices.
- Experience with agile processes and passion for customer experience are preferred.
