Responsibilities
- Develop new software code and fix bugs for Mission System and Support tools.
- Complete assigned software tasks according to agreed schedules and communicate delays or failures promptly.
- Design, implement, maintain, and update software modules.
- Collaborate with other developers to generate ideas, solve bugs, and design software applications.
- Communicate complex technical ideas to customers and in technical reports.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or an equivalent overseas qualification such as NZCE.
- Top academic achievement with a minimum Distinction average or demonstrated relevant previous experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently or as part of a team.
- Experience designing and implementing new software modules and maintaining or updating existing source code.
- Strong C++, JavaScript, and ReactJs development skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with GIS mapping services, interactive map libraries, video processing libraries, and frontend UI/UX design.
