Base Salary
$123k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and support C++ software for Remote Vehicle Assistance.
- Collaborate with C++ applications and UI engineers to facilitate data exchange.
- Integrate Remote Vehicle Assistance capabilities with existing software components.
- Engage in test-driven development for new autonomous vehicle features.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive integration and simulation test suite.
- Work with systems and operations teams to align product development with customer needs.
- Support on-road testing in collaboration with testing and operations engineers.
- Design and develop training tools for RVA agents, including simulation scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficient in C++ programming.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Basic understanding of Git, Bazel, JIRA, Confluence or similar tools.
- Ability to learn to use a custom SoC specific to Motional.
- Experience working on a Linux operating system.
- Capable of performing statistical performance analysis of deployed features.
