Responsibilities

  • Participate in team product meetings to provide insights and expertise.
  • Engage with developer community members across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from different teams to establish consistent approaches.
  • Assist in solving technical problems identified by users or colleagues.
  • Contribute to technical documentation to meet developer needs.
  • Create technical articles, presentations, or workshops.
  • Identify new opportunities for improving the developer experience.
  • Present at conferences, meetups, or technical events.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable passion for and engagement in open-source software.
  • Experience developing and deploying software using Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux software packaging.
  • Understanding of current software packaging issues in the Linux ecosystem.
  • Contributed to open-source communities, software, and documentation.
  • Engaging speaker and presenter.
  • Ability to work effectively and empathetically with diverse perspectives.
  • Willingness to travel globally for company and partner events.
