Responsibilities
- Participate in team product meetings to provide insights and expertise.
- Engage with developer community members across various platforms.
- Collaborate with colleagues from different teams to establish consistent approaches.
- Assist in solving technical problems identified by users or colleagues.
- Contribute to technical documentation to meet developer needs.
- Create technical articles, presentations, or workshops.
- Identify new opportunities for improving the developer experience.
- Present at conferences, meetups, or technical events.
Requirements
- Demonstrable passion for and engagement in open-source software.
- Experience developing and deploying software using Linux.
- Hands-on experience with Linux software packaging.
- Understanding of current software packaging issues in the Linux ecosystem.
- Contributed to open-source communities, software, and documentation.
- Engaging speaker and presenter.
- Ability to work effectively and empathetically with diverse perspectives.
- Willingness to travel globally for company and partner events.
