Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead infrastructure delivery from discovery through production rollout and make architectural and technical platform decisions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Infrastructure as Code.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Configure and support secure cluster operations, secrets management, platform hardening, and infrastructure security.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and external stakeholders in technical workshops and solution discussions.
- Analyze infrastructure environments, identify optimization opportunities, and troubleshoot production systems through root cause analysis.
- Prepare technical proposals, implementation plans, estimates, and delivery roadmaps.
- Support compliance and operational readiness requirements for government environments.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, networking, and security.
- Experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices using ArgoCD or similar tools.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills and experience with CI/CD automation and software delivery pipelines.
- Knowledge of secrets management solutions such as OpenBAO or HashiCorp Vault and identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak.
- Understanding of infrastructure security, CIS benchmarks, platform hardening, and production enterprise infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and communicate directly with customers and stakeholders.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.
- Preferred: experience with OKD or OpenShift administration, Ceph, Helm, air-gapped environments, vSphere, external hosting providers, government or eGov systems, registry-based systems, and public-sector compliance requirements.
- Strong ownership, leadership, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
