Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AWS services, real-time claims pipelines, data stores, and scoring services while owning correctness, latency, and availability.
- Develop production generative-AI capabilities including LLM-backed evaluation, multi-agent workflows, retrieval, and test harnesses.
- Build feature pipelines, scoring systems, threshold management, and model retraining workflows.
- Create human review surfaces showing findings, explanations, supporting data, and durable audit records.
- Design and operate real-time data exchanges with a health-plan partner and implement large-scale entity resolution using probabilistic matching, blocking strategies, and merge/split policies.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
