Base Salary
$126k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create responsive interfaces that help engineering and field service users debug robotic systems, triage issues, and understand complex system interactions.
- Translate UX/UI designs into clean, maintainable, reusable code and ensure consistent behavior across platforms and applications.
- Design backend interfaces, integrate APIs with embedded teams, and support seamless data flow into user interfaces.
- Develop data visualizations, instrumentation, and knowledge-base articles for diagnostic tool users.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to UI architecture, standards, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot UI defects and performance issues, support QA with root-cause analysis, and recommend technology improvements.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI Design, field service personnel, embedded teams, and other engineering groups to refine requirements and user interactions.
Requirements
- Front-end development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React, preferably involving robotics or hardware debugging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, ownership, and organizational skills across hardware and software.
- Experience designing responsive UI/UX flows for complex technical users such as engineers, developer tools, or internal productivity-tool users.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand relationships among backend data, logs, states, and robotic system events.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous data handling, Git, UI performance optimization, and independent UI debugging.
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team, manage ambiguous or evolving requirements, and drive projects with limited supervision.
- Preferred experience includes hardware-system software interfaces, shared UI platforms, 3D visualization, simulation, interactive graphics, log-analysis tools, developer tooling, or internal platform engineering.
- Exposure to Python, Linux, AWS cloud deployment environments, or AI agentic solutions is preferred.
