Responsibilities
- Review product and feature requirements and designs, and write customer-focused test plans.
- Own features end to end, including testing, automation, regression execution, and handling related customer issues.
- Debug customer issues and suggest or implement workarounds where applicable.
- Perform functional, system, performance, scale, and endpoint-client deployment validation testing.
- Create distributed test environments across cloud platforms and hypervisors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through product development and release delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation.
- Strong expertise in one or more of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, including system-level VPN or SASE/SSE client testing in large enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of test environment setup, testing, automation, and troubleshooting on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking, routing protocols, VPN, IPSec, and WAN architecture.
- Strong Python programming and automation-driven testing skills.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with ESXi or KVM and at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD deployment in public clouds and source code systems such as GitHub.
- Experience with Spirent or Ixia traffic generators and scale and performance validation of endpoint client deployments.
- Experience with web programming and HTTP-based APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
