Responsibilities
- Write clear, organized, and maintainable Python code.
- Design and build complex software with multiple interacting components.
- Develop and maintain GUI, workflow, and application code for scientific products.
- Apply software engineering practices and methodologies to produce high-quality code.
- Translate complex scientific requirements into intuitive and performant software solutions.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse, interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complex problem-solving.
- A B.E. or B.Tech degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or another field.
- Python experience is preferred; candidates with strong backgrounds in C++, Java, JavaScript, or React and basic Python exposure are also considered.
- GUI development experience and experience working with large, complex codebases are preferred but not required.
