Base Salary
$38.31 - $41.25/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance interactive editing tools, graphical canvas components, and schematic or layout manipulation capabilities using C++ and Python.
- Extend and maintain the Python API layer for automation, custom extensions, and programmatic data access.
- Design and implement Qt-based UI/UX features, dialogs, and interactive editing modes.
- Debug application issues, write unit and integration tests, and participate in peer code reviews.
- Work within an agile software engineering workflow on production-grade Electronic Design Automation software.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a technical discipline, with expected graduation after Summer 2027.
- Proficiency in core data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: proficiency in C++ or Python and hands-on experience with Qt, PySide, PyQt, or other desktop GUI frameworks.
- Preferred: familiarity with C++/Python bindings such as pybind11.
- Preferred: exposure to EDA tools and concepts.
- Preferred: familiarity with CMake, Linux/Unix development tools, and Git version control.
