Responsibilities
- Design, implement, refactor, re-architect, and deprecate large-scale cloud-based distributed services with low latency and high transaction volumes.
- Build Native-AI software products and seller-facing platforms for Amazon's worldwide selling partners.
- Design and optimize systems for FBA capacity management, inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
- Automate third-party supply management systems and drive inventory across Amazon marketplaces.
- Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, caching, load balancing, distributed-service architecture, and database technologies.
- Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, researchers, and Data Engineers across multiple teams.
- Improve team coding practices related to software quality and security and communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
