Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components and systems.
- Develop tools and applications supporting autonomous robotics and aerospace platforms.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to integrate and test capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, version control, and defect tracking.
- Create scripts and automation to improve team workflows.
- Support prototypes, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn to estimate development effort and timelines.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse, or similar integrated development environments.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with effective written and verbal communication.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Linux, Windows, cross-platform development, web technologies, cloud platforms, backend services, scripting, robotics, autonomous systems, or data analytics.
