Base Salary
$180k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize the syncing process to move large volumes of customer data more quickly.
- Design and build real-time streaming syncs using sources such as webhooks and queues.
- Evaluate and address scalability and reliability bottlenecks for continued growth.
- Build and operate the low-latency Personalization API caching layer over data warehouses.
- Extend multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure to support global customers and data residency requirements.
- Own and deliver projects from start to finish and work directly with customers on scaling problems.
Requirements
- Experience with distributed systems and high-scale systems, or the ability and desire to build that experience quickly.
- Experience building scalable syncing engines that process terabytes of data per day, event collection or data streaming services, or systems that have scaled by orders of magnitude is relevant.
- Passion for solving difficult technical problems that create customer value.
- Comfort with high ownership, autonomy, and a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication, growth mindset, motivation, and persistence.
