Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise application systems built on Java microservices.
- Lead end-to-end software development across design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Set technical standards and provide technical direction across teams.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and product management teams on system integration and process improvements.
- Analyze and resolve high-impact technical problems across application, infrastructure, and architecture domains.
- Mentor and coach mid-level engineers and analysts, review work, and distribute tasks.
- Assess technical and business risks and ensure compliance and engineering quality standards are met.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software application development or systems analysis experience.
- Deep expertise in Java microservices development, system design, API integration, and distributed application architecture.
- Experience leading complex software projects from initiation through implementation.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one core applications development area and the ability to set technical direction.
- Strong systems analysis skills and the ability to translate complex workflows into engineering solutions.
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services technology environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, or containerization technologies is beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is beneficial; a master's degree is preferred.
