Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable and secure software delivery.
- Design, deploy, optimize, and support scalable cloud-native infrastructure solutions.
- Own production-grade environments and maintain high availability, resiliency, performance, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code solutions and reusable modules.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services.
- Automate operational processes and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with development teams on application deployment strategies, system architecture, and operational readiness.
- Support cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure governance initiatives.
- Help deliver reliable technical solutions for utility customers and collaborate across engineering, product, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related production-supporting role.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with Amazon ECS and/or Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including VPC, ECS, EKS, EC2, Route 53, S3, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, and AWS Transfer Family.
- Experience developing and managing Terraform Infrastructure as Code and reusable modules.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting production infrastructure with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Knowledge of CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, observability, monitoring, and logging practices.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with SaaS platforms, large-scale cloud-native applications, DevSecOps, cloud security frameworks, microservices, distributed systems, incident management, infrastructure cost optimization, and relevant AWS or cloud certifications.
- Preferred: experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, or related industries.
