Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and act as the technical authority for data architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Design and implement AI-ready data platform capabilities, including semantic data layers, knowledge graph platforms, vector stores, and metadata-driven architectures.
  • Define semantic models, measures, dimensions, ontologies, and governed data products for analytics, applications, APIs, and AI workloads.
  • Architect knowledge graph solutions supporting entity resolution, relationship intelligence, and multi-hop reasoning.
  • Build intent-driven data access patterns for AI assistants, agents, and applications across structured and unstructured enterprise data.
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
  • Influence technical prioritization, solution design, and architectural recommendations based on business impact.
  • Oversee technical delivery and architectural coherence across initiatives.
  • Champion data management, governance, security, automation, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices.
  • Translate business objectives and stakeholder needs into scalable technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to management.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python within senior technical roles.
  • Leadership experience directing complex initiatives and providing technical guidance to engineers, with or without direct line management.
  • Experience designing semantic data models, business ontologies, data products, and metadata-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or equivalent and graph modeling patterns.
  • Experience building AI-ready data platforms with vector databases, document retrieval systems, and RAG architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise metadata management, data catalogs, lineage, governance, and business glossaries.
  • Experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, copilots, or agentic workflows with enterprise data platforms.
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, pipeline design, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Preferred experience includes global and multilingual teams, Kubernetes, advanced observability, and financial services or private capital markets.
