Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for 3D spatial data, geometric analysis, and automated print workflows.
  • Develop and refine real-time computer vision and time-series pipelines for system monitoring and defect detection.
  • Profile and optimize model architectures for fast, resource-efficient inference in desktop software or cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to turn research concepts into functional, high-quality software prototypes.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong foundations in linear algebra and 3D geometry.
  • Deep proficiency in Python and hands-on prototyping experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of C++ and clean code principles, with interest in performant, production-ready code.
  • Experience with unstructured datasets, point clouds, meshes, voxel grids, or machine learning applied to real-world physical systems.
  • GitHub profile, portfolio, or technical project documentation demonstrating work built by the applicant.
  • Familiarity with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, Open3D, or CGAL is a bonus.
