Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Review software design diagrams created in Beacon against standards checklists and best practices.
- Develop, execute, and debug software unit tests for requirements-based functionality and robustness.
- Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies and defects found during reviews and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software verification activities in a regulated aerospace environment.
Requirements
- Understand fundamental software concepts including data types, control structures, conditional execution paths, and modular design.
- Interpret software logic diagrams, flowcharts, and model-based design representations.
- Have hands-on experience with software verification activities such as testing, reviews, or analysis.
- Work methodically with strong attention to detail and adherence to strict processes.
- Knowledge of DO-178C or DO-178B Level A certification processes, particularly for aircraft engine control systems or FADEC, is desired.
- Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks or tools in embedded or safety-critical environments is desired.
- Aerospace, avionics, or similarly regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
