Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration of advanced networking products and security technologies for aerospace products and platforms.
- Apply secure-by-design principles across hardware, firmware, software, and system architectures.
- Lead medium- to large-scale technical efforts from concept definition through implementation and transition into production.
- Mature innovative security and networking capabilities into scalable, certifiable, and deployable product solutions.
- Define technical strategies and roadmaps for secure embedded and networked platforms.
- Guide resilient system architecture, vulnerability mitigation, threat-informed design, attack surface reduction, and security trade studies.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, networking, toolchain, business, engineering, government, and external stakeholders.
- Document technical approaches and innovations through patents, technical reports, publications, and engineering deliverables.
- Shape technical proposals and response strategies for internal opportunities and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of industry experience.
- Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing embedded networked products such as routers, switches, gateway devices, VPN devices, cable modems, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing or developing secure embedded systems across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
- Experience with embedded processors or devices such as Xilinx, NXP, or Microchip.
- Experience with embedded software development in Linux and/or RTOS environments.
- Experience developing networking protocols and network security capabilities in embedded software or firmware.
- Experience with security architecture, secure boot, roots of trust, trusted execution, cryptographic integration, and platform security.
- Strong C/C++ programming experience plus at least one additional language such as Rust or Ada.
- Experience applying cryptographic standards and guidance, including NIST algorithms and standards.
- Preferred experience with High Assurance or Cross Domain Solution products, networking protocols, IPsec, IKE, UEFI, TPM, ARM TrustZone, OpenSSL, wolfSSL, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, penetration testing, threat modeling, anti-tamper technologies, side-channel analysis, and security validation.
- Ability to take ideas from concept through productization and deployment, with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile program execution and development methodologies.
- Ability to meet U.S. Person requirements for access to export-controlled information.
