Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver well-scoped software projects end-to-end, from design through production support.
- Partner with engineers across Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure on Twitch-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to evolving and scaling authentication, security and privacy systems.
- Drive operational excellence by improving observability, reliability, and on-call readiness.
- Participate in design reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Raise the quality bar through thoughtful code reviews and maintainable system design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience building and operating production Go services and full-stack applications.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating production services or data pipelines on AWS.
- Experience working in ambiguous technical problem spaces and driving clarity.
- Exposure to security, data, and privacy concepts relevant to platform engineering.
