Base Salary

$150k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and lead and coach security architecture and automation teams responsible for cloud solution architecture and security controls.
  • Improve security designs for existing and new on-premise and cloud solutions while reducing risk and maintaining operational stability.
  • Develop security patterns that help application teams design and build applications with appropriate security controls.
  • Monitor current threat vectors and maintain expertise in cloud security tools and technologies.
  • Standardize and automate security tool configuration and patching processes in the cloud.
  • Prototype, optimize, consolidate, and retire security tools based on organizational strategy and evolving threats.
  • Automate security testing in CI/CD pipelines to improve the application development lifecycle.
  • Use security performance data and key performance indicators to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Champion Agile and DevOps-focused ways of working and support application teams with deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in security architecture, information security, information technology, or information risk management.
  • At least 4 years of experience establishing cloud security architectures in AWS.
  • Azure and GCP experience is beneficial.
  • CISSP, CISA, AWS, and/or Azure certifications are desirable.
  • Strong collaboration, adaptability, innovation, customer focus, and ability to learn new technologies are required.

  • Annualized market-based salary range of $150,000-$224,000, with eligibility for an annual incentive program.
