Responsibilities
- Drive software quality through test strategy, automation, and quality engineering practices.
- Lead quality initiatives and contribute to technical decisions for test infrastructure and automation architecture.
- Review product requirements and technical designs to ensure testability and quality coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
- Lead end-to-end validation for streaming applications across connected TV and hosted web app platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution of defects and quality risks.
- Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and release quality metrics.
- Support device testing and in-region validation for new features and releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in test.
- Experience testing OTT or streaming platforms and connected TV ecosystems such as Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen, or LG webOS.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with API, UI, and end-to-end automation testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering and product teams on quality requirements, acceptance criteria, and issue resolution.
