Senior SDET Lead – Mobile, Web & AI-Driven Automation

Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable automation frameworks for mobile and web applications from the ground up.
- Develop automated tests for native Android, iOS, hybrid, mobile web, and web applications.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing and validation using REST-oriented tools.
- Use AI-powered development tools to improve test generation, code quality, debugging, and automation workflows.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, drive technical decisions, and establish automation standards.
- Lead technical initiatives from design through implementation and communicate solutions to clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Collaborate across distributed, cross-functional engineering and client teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Appium 2.x for Android and iOS, UIAutomator2, and XCUITest.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, ADB, Xcode, iOS Simulator, and physical device testing.
- Proficiency with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent test frameworks.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Cypress and cross-browser testing.
- Experience designing automation frameworks and maintainable Page Object Model architectures.
- Experience with REST API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools, including JSON, HTTP, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle, or npm.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI tools for test generation, framework development, code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
- Proven technical leadership, including mentoring engineers, driving technical decisions, influencing engineering practices, and leading initiatives through implementation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, ownership, problem-solving, independence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Nice-to-have experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, AWS Device Farm, Kotlin, Swift, Cucumber, JMeter, k6, Docker, and containerized testing environments.
