Responsibilities
- Diagnose, reproduce, and root-cause issues across services, tools, and data solutions, driving them to resolution or escalation.
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered support capabilities including diagnostic agents, automated root-cause analysis, anomaly detection, and self-healing remediation.
- Apply AI-assisted and agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle.
- Automate operational tasks and build tooling that enables other engineers and reduces manual effort.
- Manage trouble tickets through resolution or escalation and improve support documentation, procedures, and tools.
- Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities and reliability risks at the team and component levels.
- Improve service resilience, performance, and operational metrics and establish operational-excellence practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for owned services.
- Collaborate with partner teams, Technical Program Managers, and Product Managers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Preferred experience building services with AWS products and working with distributed systems at scale.
- Preferred experience with Linux/Unix.
- Preferred experience using AI agents for security review automation, spec-driven development, or adversarial red teaming.
- Preferred experience building or integrating AI/GenAI-powered solutions such as LLM-based tools, agentic frameworks, automated diagnostics, or remediation.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems using an object-oriented programming language.
