Base Salary
$95k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans covering software quality and defect detection.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to expand coverage and reduce manual testing.
- Partner with software developers on bug root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines to support reliable deployments.
- Document testing procedures and quality guidelines for team knowledge sharing and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of work experience completed within the past 3 years or expected within the next 12 months; or an educational/workforce development program with 1 year of work experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience.
- Qualifying education and work experience should be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on programming or scripting experience in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Go through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Foundational knowledge of test case design, functional testing, defect tracking, and software QA methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing libraries or frameworks such as PyTest, JUnit, Selenium, or Postman.
- Familiarity with Git and fundamental continuous integration pipeline concepts.
- Preferred: API testing, RESTful web service validation, Linux, command-line utilities, Docker, Jira, Confluence, Agile workflows, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
