Software Engineer III - Mobile Developer

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and iOS frameworks.
- Integrate RESTful APIs with mobile applications and diagnose crashes, performance issues, and lifecycle or memory-management problems.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve application coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Lead responsible use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including validation for correctness, performance, security, and compliance.
- Contribute reusable AI-assisted development patterns and coach engineers on safe adoption practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Strong knowledge of Swift for iOS development.
- Understanding of Objective-C for maintaining and updating legacy projects.
- Proficiency with Xcode and its debugging tools.
- Familiarity with essential iOS frameworks, the iOS application lifecycle, memory management, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications with backend services.
- Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
