Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers on AUV design and testing.
- Support the design and integration of AUV subsystems and components.
- Develop and operate physical integration environments for system maturity.
- Automate testing of hardware and software systems through software development.
- Debug and troubleshoot integration issues in electrical and software systems.
- Write, review, and execute test plans for AUV platforms.
- Provide expertise for test operations, including pre-mission testing.
- Support infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs.
- May require fieldwork up to 20% of the time for testing.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software, mechatronic, electrical, or systems engineering focused on integration and test.
- Proficiency in software development for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong experience with Linux and network debugging.
- Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and experience with test equipment.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor integration, or robotics control.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and control theory.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to a positive and collaborative culture.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance.
