Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems.
- Create and maintain robust and secure APIs for front-end applications and third-party integrations.
- Design and manage database schemas and optimize queries and data storage performance.
- Monitor backend systems for performance issues, errors, and anomalies and implement improvements.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and unit and integration testing.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver product features.
- Stay current with backend technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, C++, or Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of API design and development.
- Knowledge of security and data protection best practices.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenGL, Vulkan, WebRTC, or machine learning infrastructure, especially computer vision, is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment are preferred.
