Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support microservices-based applications using Java and Java Spring Boot.
- Build user-facing application components with ReactJS, Angular, Vue, or Flutter.
- Design scalable, resilient, independently deployable microservices and cloud-native solution patterns.
- Configure, manage, deploy, and operate workloads on Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Develop and operate applications primarily on Google Cloud and adapt solutions for Microsoft Azure when required.
- Integrate GenAI capabilities into application and data workflows for automation, insights, predictive analytics, and intelligent user experiences.
- Design and support agentic solutions involving workflow orchestration, enterprise-system connectivity, task automation, and decision support.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application builds, validation, container image creation, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot application, platform, and deployment issues and escalate unresolved problems appropriately.
- Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, support materials, troubleshooting notes, runbooks, SOPs, and best-practice knowledge assets.
- Collaborate with application engineering, platform engineering, data, AI, architecture, product, and client teams.
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide team support, and evaluate performance as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with microservices, application modernization, and container platforms.
- Strong experience developing microservices with Java and Java Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of ReactJS, Angular, Vue, or Flutter.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API-led design, distributed application patterns, and containerized deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience managing application and container lifecycles, including build, packaging, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Practical experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for build, validation, container image management, and deployment.
- Required professional- or practitioner-level Google Cloud certification and demonstrated hands-on public cloud delivery experience.
- Awareness of multi-cloud deployment patterns and the ability to adapt architectures from Google Cloud to Microsoft Azure.
- Basic to working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services for application modernization, container platforms, cloud-native deployment, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Working knowledge of GenAI integration patterns and agentic solution patterns, including workflow orchestration, tool integration, human-in-the-loop controls, and enterprise connectivity.
- Ability to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready solutions across application, platform, data, and AI teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Preferred: Professional Cloud Architect certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, and familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
