Responsibilities
- Collaborate with iOS, web, backend, design, and product teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensure software robustness through unit and integration testing while addressing edge cases, usability, and reliability.
- Initiate and drive personal project initiatives from idea through app integration.
- Lead medium- to large-scale projects from inception through successful delivery in alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Keep current with Android SDK tools, conventions, and platform developments.
Requirements
- University and/or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years shipping real-world production Android applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms and the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Java, with proficiency in Jetpack Compose, Room, Kotlin Coroutines, and ReactiveX.
- Experience with MVP, MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture patterns and strong application design principles.
- Experience leading medium- to large-scale projects, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Preferred qualifications include integration, functional, or UI automation testing; analytics tools; CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise; observability tools; and performance monitoring or testing.
