Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Implement and support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management through scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
- Implement and support Zero Trust and secure access technologies, including Zscaler solutions.
- Contribute to capacity planning, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in system performance reviews and reliability engineering activities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Canadian citizenship and 10 years of verifiable history on Canadian soil are required for Canadian government security clearance.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt, or Ansible.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing automation with Python, Go, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms and large-scale production environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and Zscaler technologies is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
