Responsibilities
- Deploy, optimize, and validate AI models on Renesas SoCs for robotics companies, research labs, and automotive OEMs.
- Compile, quantize, and optimize models using technologies such as MLIR, TVM, and TensorRT.
- Integrate models with ROS 2, robotics SDKs, and simulation tools.
- Lead customer proofs of concept through to measured results and work onsite with customers.
- Translate field feedback into product requirements.
- Support model porting from CUDA/NVIDIA platforms to other AI accelerators and perform simulation or HIL validation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded AI or robotics/ADAS software deployment.
- Hands-on experience with model compilation, quantization, and optimization, including MLIR, TVM, or TensorRT.
- Practical experience with agentic AI and LLM-based development tools.
- Strong Linux, Python, and C++ skills with ROS 2 experience.
- Customer-facing technical experience and willingness to work onsite with customers.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM, VLM, or VLA models on edge devices; Isaac Sim or Omniverse; HIL validation; CUDA/NVIDIA porting; automotive SoCs; functional safety; and open-source, developer-community, or university collaborations.
