Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering leaders and developers to identify Codex opportunities and define architectures, implementation plans, evaluations, and success criteria.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered software development workflows, integrations, automations, prototypes, evaluation harnesses, and production accelerators.
- Evaluate AI coding systems using representative tasks, automated graders, production signals, and developer feedback.
- Diagnose complex implementation challenges and make technical decisions involving models, agents, developer environments, reliability, observability, security, privacy, performance, cost, and safety.
- Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and hands-on enablement for engineering organizations.
- Translate customer deployment insights into product proposals, model feedback, technical requirements, reusable architectures, tooling, and technical resources.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and delivering software or AI systems in enterprise environments from prototype through production.
- Substantial personal contributions in code, architecture, evaluation, debugging, integrations, or production engineering.
- High proficiency in Python and comfort working across modern software development environments.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or another relevant programming language is valuable.
- Active use of AI coding tools and a strong perspective on improving developer productivity and software engineering workflows.
- Understanding of systematic evaluation for AI coding systems, including representative tasks, automated evaluations, production signals, and developer feedback.
- Experience navigating enterprise requirements such as developer tooling integrations, reliability, observability, security, privacy, data governance, performance, and cost.
- Ability to connect technical decisions to developer workflows, adoption, engineering productivity, and business outcomes.
- Ability to communicate credibly with engineers, engineering leaders, security teams, product leaders, and executives.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Relevant backgrounds may include applied AI or ML engineering, forward-deployed engineering, software engineering, developer tooling, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
