Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web-based training and learning applications.
- Build responsive, scalable, and accessible front-end applications using TypeScript and modern frameworks.
- Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities into training and operational support systems.
- Apply data science and analytics to adaptive learning, user insights, performance analysis, and mission workflows.
- Integrate front-end systems with APIs, backend services, AI/ML pipelines, and enterprise platforms.
- Develop reusable UI components, visualizations, and workflows for scalable training ecosystems.
- Work with structured and unstructured data in enterprise and classified environments.
- Participate in architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment across the software development lifecycle.
- Operationalize AI/ML capabilities in production systems and use AI-assisted development tools and coding agents.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and data issues across distributed environments.
- Contribute to software engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience with TypeScript and modern front-end development.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, or comparable modern front-end frameworks.
- Practical experience applying data science, analytics, or AI/ML techniques to real-world applications and proficiency in Python.
- Experience integrating applications with APIs, backend systems, and data services.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, Git, automated testing, secure coding, and modern software development practices.
- Ability to independently design and implement production-ready technical solutions with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with training or learning technology, intelligent tutoring systems, LLMs, generative AI, NLP, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, data visualization, SCORM, xAPI, LMS integrations, Node.js, cloud or enterprise deployment, and national security customers.
Benefits
- The stated pay range is $131,300.00-$237,350.00 annually.
- The role supports classified national security environments and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
