Base Salary
$180k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI-powered workflow automations using LLMs, the internal agent platform, and other appropriate tools
- Own AI workflow solutions from prototyping through production deployment and ongoing improvement
- Build extensible abstractions, APIs, and infrastructure that enable others to create workflow solutions
- Identify problems, ship solutions quickly, measure impact, and iterate based on results
- Architect reliable agentic systems with multi-step reasoning, structured extraction, and multi-agent coordination
- Create evaluation frameworks that measure agent quality and catch regressions
- Build agents that parse policy documents, automate email workflows, represent client risk profiles, and handle client work end to end
- Craft APIs used by user interfaces and AI agents
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building software in production environments
- At least 2 years at the same company in a prior role, with demonstrated promotions and recognition
- Hands-on experience applying LLMs to real-world problems
- Experience building AI-powered solutions that real users depend on
- Understanding of prompt engineering and the challenges of making AI reliable in production
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, sensible system design, and consistent delivery
- High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical teams, understand their workflows, and translate them into practical solutions
