Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain secure Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and web applications.
- Engineer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra External ID solutions for external and B2B identities.
- Develop integrations with Microsoft Graph API and related Microsoft identity services.
- Design and maintain Spring Boot RESTful API microservices and web user interfaces.
- Contribute to IAM strategy, technical architecture, product roadmaps, and enterprise security standards.
- Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and diagnostic capabilities using tools such as Kusto Query Language.
- Support production operations, incidents, problems, service requests, and root-cause analysis.
- Create architecture, API, coding-standard, configuration, operational, and application-onboarding documentation.
- Build and use CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, security validation, and deployment.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot while maintaining security and quality controls.
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, architecture, security, application, and business teams.
- Participate in rotational on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of relevant software engineering, IAM, or IT experience.
- Hands-on experience designing or engineering Microsoft Entra ID identity solutions for external or B2B identities.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience integrating applications with Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience developing web applications with Angular or another modern JavaScript or TypeScript framework.
- Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience building APIs, batch services, or web applications with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience implementing automated build, test, security, and deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, and Postman.
- Familiarity with 42Crunch, SonarQube, or Checkmarx.
- Experience with PowerShell or comparable scripting and automation technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise applications and identity integrations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, prioritization, and ambiguity-management skills.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft Entra External ID, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, KQL, GitHub Copilot, and large-enterprise IAM environments.
