Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the developer platform that powers Flexport engineering.
- Create and support developers with CI/CD pipelines and build tooling.
- Improve the backend and frontend developer experience.
- Steward the GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem for smooth operation.
- Evolve and integrate IAM solutions for security and ease of use.
- Ensure engineers can effectively use container orchestration and observability tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in developer platforms or internal tooling.
- Deep full-stack instincts across backend services, frontend build pipelines, and CI configurations.
- Strong product instincts focused on internal users and measuring impact.
- Expertise in CI/CD systems, container orchestration, and build tooling.
- Ability to solve tech debt and execute migrations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a helpful attitude.
