Responsibilities
- Plan, design, write, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases using Swift and/or Python.
- Translate feature descriptions and product requirements into user scenarios, test plans, and maintainable test coverage.
- Detect, isolate, reproduce, and communicate software bugs and their impact.
- Perform regression testing and contribute to automation frameworks and internal QA infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support reliable releases of video editing applications.
- Manage multiple concurrent testing efforts while meeting release deadlines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software QA or quality engineering.
- 4+ years planning, designing, writing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated test cases using Swift and/or Python.
- 3+ years testing customer-facing software applications for functional correctness, usability, and reliability.
- Experience shipping at least one commercial or consumer product through a full release cycle.
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, QA methodologies, bug isolation, and regression testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Preferred: professional experience writing test automation with Swift and/or Python.
- Preferred: experience with video technologies, codecs, media pipelines, creative applications, or media-focused software.
- Preferred: proficiency with Xcode, Instruments, or Apple platform debugging tools.
- Preferred: experience building CI/CD-integrated test pipelines and improving QA tooling or internal test infrastructure.
