Responsibilities
- Build and deliver backend system solutions supporting ABOUT YOU’s retail business and merchant integrations.
- Translate business problems into technical solutions and collaborate on their design, planning, and delivery.
- Develop internal and external synchronous APIs for backend products.
- Implement data transformation and enrichment processes for external merchant data.
- Work with message queue systems such as SQS or RabbitMQ.
- Own services end to end, including automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Perform complex technical tasks independently while contributing to team effectiveness and technical quality.
Requirements
- Recent hands-on experience with Laravel.
- Hands-on experience developing synchronous APIs.
- Experience with a message queue system such as SQS, RabbitMQ, or an equivalent.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, MySQL, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
- Ability to take ownership of delivered systems and their operational lifecycle.
- Ability to perform complex technical tasks independently with minimal guidance.
- Self-motivated, responsible, passionate, and eager to learn.
